Shibori is the Japanese art of dying textiles which creates varied and beautiful patterns from indigo dye. Created from an original Shibori-inspired artwork called 'Tidal', which hangs in the Radiation Oncology Unit of Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, the creation of the Arterie cup and saucer set was something very close to the heart of the founder of LyndalT. Arterie features a richly coloured decal and elegant gold trim on fine china and is a testament to the grace and strength of every person living with cancer.
With a custom-designed decal applied to new fine china and kiln fired many times, you'll find that while it appears delicate, this tea cup is designed for everyday use and is strong enough to last generations.

To keep your LyndalT designer tea cup and saucer set in pristine condition, we recommend hand washing in warm soapy water and drying with a soft cloth. Not suitable for use in microwave or convection ovens. Not dishwasher safe.
